How the Program Works
Our new hybrid model is structured to provide you with a perfectly balanced educational journey.
Step 1: Foundational Studies in Barbados (2.5 Years) For the first 2.5 years of the program, you will study Pre-Medical and Basic Medical Sciences at the Bridgetown International University (BIU) campus in Barbados. During this time, you will benefit from a curriculum developed according to USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) standards, which provides an excellent foundation for students aspiring to a career in the USA.
Step 2: Clinical Training in Pakistan (3.5 Years) After successfully completing your foundational studies in Barbados, you will return to Pakistan for the next 3.5 years to complete your clinical studies and training at a leading teaching hospital. This will give you the opportunity to gain practical experience relevant to the local healthcare environment and medical system in Pakistan.
Step 3: The Dual Degree Advantage Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive two qualifications:
- An internationally recognized MD (MBBS) degree from Bridgetown International University.
- A clinical training certificate/degree from the teaching hospital in Pakistan. This dual degree will uniquely prepare you for both international (like USMLE) and local (like NLE) examinations.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Hybrid MBBS Program with EEU is straightforward. You will need:
- Academic Eligibility: Completed intermediate education (F.Sc. Pre-Medical or 12 years equivalent) with a minimum of 50-60% marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
